The Coach House

~ A holiday cottage in Castle Acre, Norfolk ~

Set in the pretty conservation village of Castle Acre, 12 miles from King’s Lynn, the Coach House is a sixteenth century flint cottage, perfect for a peaceful break.

The cottage sleeps two to four people and is newly refurbished and well cared for by the owner.  There is a kitchen which is fully equipped, along with the dining area and bathroom.

Included with the cottage are many extras, such as use of bicycles, a boules set, maps and tour guides, picnic baskets and indoor games.

Set in a quiet location, the charming cottage is close to the centre of the historic village which has shops, pubs and tearooms.  Explore the castle and priory ruins on the banks of the River Nar.

The area is good for people who enjoy walking, cycling, bird-watching and painting.  The Peddars Way and the Nar Valley way pass through the village, and Thetford Forest is nearby.

Beautiful scenes of the north Norfolk coast are only 30 minutes away, and there are National Trust houses and gardens to explore.  There are activities for children too.

Guests have use of a peaceful garden with patio and barbecue, which is lovely in the warm summer weather.  There is plenty of off-street parking.

The cottage is available throughout the year, with weekend breaks available out of the main season.
